| Project Description | A (very) brief summary of the project that the store will be used for, max 256 characters. |
| Folder Name | The name of the folder you would like your project store to appear as. Please try to make this name distinct, and avoid using “common” phrases as a part of the folder name. Some example of commonly used phrases/words: your name, the name of your research group, common scientific terms, and domain specific terms (eg. RNA_sequencing or ConvNeuralNet). |

| Estimated Space | Your estimate of how much space you may require by the end of your project. | Tags | Please enter any terms you may wish to have used a searchable terms in the future. |
| Type of Access |
Individual: Only the project store owner has read/write access. (chmod code: 700). Group: Both the project store owner and their (entire) UNIX group has read/write access. (chmod code: 2770). Public: Your project store will be read accessible by all cluster users. This is not recommended. Reference: Select this if your project store will contain a referenceable (ie/ usable by others for their projects) data set, and if you are happy to share said data set. We will create a separate project store for this data set, and it will be read-only. This will then be symlink-ed to a directory in /share/apps/ref. |
| Type of Store | A project store is a snapshotted area for long term data storage. Scratch space (not to be confused with node local scratch space) refers to areas for short term storage. |
| Other Users/Groups | A list of other users/groups that should have access to your project store. Groups, in this case, refers to a UNIX group found on the cluster. Also, please put the users’ UNIX username down. If you don’t know this, then their full name will suffice. |
| Backup | Do you want your project store backed up? Project stores are backed up regularly. As standard, we perform a Level 0 backup once per month, an incremental backup every evening, and snapshot on a weekly basis. We store 3 months of Level 0 backups. |
| Windows/Mac Share | Do you want your project store to be accessible as a Windows/Mac share (via the CIFS protocol) to your UCL based desktop machine? Availability is dependent on your network location. |
| CS Departmentally Managed Access | Do you want your project store to be accessible on the CS Departmentally Managed Linux machines? Examples of CS Departmentally Managed Linux machines include: jet, storm, knuckles, tails, and all machines in the Thinlinc service. |
